Shiv learns from the liftman that the media has come to cover the success party of a film. He wonders why the media is clicking his filmland rather. Liftman informs him about the tail. Shiv notices it and gets angry. Ishani sleeps outdoors in cold waves. Sulochana comes out at 4 am with empty pails and asks Ishani to go and fill water from the tanker. Ishani questions her about the new cinch. She slaps her. Ishani gets oblivious. Sulochana asks her to stop acting and says if Ishani tries to be over smart she'll protest her out of the house. She goes outside.
