Vasundhara stays silent and recalls what Rishi said. The journalists also ask Vasudhara again and again who wore Mangalsutra on her. Jagathi gets up and tells everyone that Rishi is the reason for Vasudhara’s Mangalsutra and that Vasudhara is her son-in-law.

Devayani asks Jagathi why is she trying to cover up for Vasudhara. Devayani says it isn't right to use Rishi to cover up for Vasudhara. Jagathi says she isn't using Rishi but she's just speaking the verity. Devayani argues with Jagathi about what she said. While they're arguing Rishi comes to the press match. Devayani comes to Rishi and tells him what Jagathi told everyone. Devayani brings Rishi onto the stage and asks Rishi to tell the verity to everyone.
